Yes, I did a double-take on this as I passed by. I thought to myself at first “what’s wrong here?”. My second thought went to Japan, where I’ve seen all sorts of vending machines for things. In Japan, you get a vending machine for beer. Here, you get pimple medicine. I guess that’s America. What does it say about us?
I’m afraid it says nothing good about us — more about a superficial and instant gratification centered society. I’m sure there’s a plastic surgery vending booth somewhere.
It strikes me there’s something wrong with this on so many levels, but it’s like a car accident you have to look at as you pass. 🙂
