A new serious compact? It has some of the markings. Nikon has to get back in this market segment or they are going to get their lunch money taken away on the playground again.

I was once the proud owner of a Coolpix 990. Those days seem long ago. That was when Nikon cared about bridge cameras/serious compacts. I wonder if they are really back.
