Prints

High-quality prints of my photographs are available in various sizes on quality archival paper.  A print is available for any photograph for which there is a key listed near the image.  A rather complete collection of photographs can be browsed here (collectionssets).

I offer two types of prints: signed and unsigned.

Signed Prints

Signed prints are meticulously printed, signed, sold, packaged, shipped and guaranteed by me, the photographer. This is the ultimate way that I can guarantee quality and authenticity.

Some signed prints may run in limited editions, depending on whether an image is licensed or used in other contexts.

My self-produced prints are made using archival pigment inks. Quality archival paper will be chosen to best match the characteristics of the image, or to the specifications of the buyer.  In all cases, a long archival life is certain if the print is properly cared for.

To purchase a signed print, simply contact me with an inquiry. Be sure to include the photo key that you see somewhere near the photo description.  It looks something like “Key: RYYYYMMDD-HHMMSS”.  I can advise you on the best size that a particular image will print and provide pricing on different sizes.  Payment may be made via credit card or paypal.  Directions will be provided.

I can provide bare or matted prints. Regretfully, I cannot ship framed signed prints.

Unsigned Prints

Unsigned prints are more economical, because I do not handle any aspect of order fulfillment.  For these prints I use a service called imagekind.

If you are interested in purchasing an unsigned print, but can’t find the image you are looking for at imagekind, please contact me. Please mention the key that you should see in the caption near the image you are interested in.  If the image is not in a limited edition I will upload it to imagekind so that it can be purchased there.

About imagekind prints

I looked long and hard for a site that would handle printing and order fulfillment, and do so with the quality, care and attention to detail such that I would be proud of the end product. I have finally found that in imagekind.

imagekind prints on state of the art Epson inkjet printers with archival pigment inks. They can ship a bare print, or you can have the print mounted and/or matted with a wide variety of good quality acid-free, conservation-quality (or better) materials. If you want it framed, they can frame it in a variety of attractive wood or metal frames and even furnish glazing; again, in a variety of types. Their web site is a pleasure to use, and provides ample views of the matting and framing choices available to you. If you prefer, there is a simple link to purchase the print with the mounting/matting/framing choices that I have chosen as the “artist’s choice” for each image. At every stage you can even see the price breakdown by item.

You can browse my galleries at imagekind here.  Please note that only a limited selection of my work is hosted in their galleries, but I can quickly provide there any image for which I am given the key.

Their web site offers secure online ordering via credit card. In my experience, order turnaround was quick. The finished works arrive in extremely sturdy packaging, and with a 30-day, no questions asked money-back return guarantee (minus shipping). I found the work to be top-notch, from the print to the mats to the frame. Frame backs are sealed and frames arrive ready to hang.

Your Choice

Signed or unsigned?

The choice is yours!  There are reasons to go either way.  A print that is truest to the photographer’s vision and signed for authenticity, or a high-quality, economical, photographer-approved, unsigned reproduction.

If you have any questions about either signed or unsigned prints I’ll be happy to answer them.
