There’s a New Kid in Town

The Ricoh GX100 is off to the repair facility, but as fortune would have it, just a couple days later the Panasonic GH1 arrived.

I’ll be posting my impressions as I get more familiar with this camera. So far I find it very intriguing, if a bit bulky compared to my usual svelte power compacts.

Check out that bokeh…I like this lens!

  1. Eric, Congratulation on the new GH1. I’ve read some good things about it. Love the red pepper shot. What lens were you using with this?

    • Earl,
      I got it with the 14-140mm (28-280) kit lens. This is an amazingly good lens for a 10x zoom.

      I realize there is a lot of correction going in software for distortion, but I’m perfectly OK with that.
