Panasonic LX3? Hmmm…

Filed under: noted, small cameras — Eric Jeschke @ 10:46 pm

I noted Wouter Brandsma’s report on his new Ricoh GX-200.  I definitely like his photography and respect his opinion.  And he’s a bit down on it.  All the more interesting because he basically begged them on his blog to send him one after his GX-100 was in for cleaning three times to the Ricoh repair facility.  No gushing, he tells it like it is.

With my own recent GX-100 malfunction, I’m beginning to think about what I’m going to do about my broken GX-100.  And lo and behold, 1001 Noisy Cameras announces a $100 instant rebate at J&R on the new Panasonic Panasonic DMC-LX3!  Offer ends Sep. 6.

But Photokina is just around the corner.  Will Canon introduce the G10?  Should I try to get the GX-100 repaired?  Decisions, decisions…

  1. You seem to have exactly similar thoughs as I (LX3, G10, …) – but at some point there needs to be a decision. I may not last until Photokina, though.

  2. Couldn’t stand waiting – I ordered a LX3 and it should ship on Tuesday. I hope the camera matches the positive reviews and first impressions.
