The recent post on L-L about the DNG profile editor is welcome news. It’s real significance is that the RAW format finally reaches it’s full potential, since previously it was difficult to pin down the color and tonal conversion process–everyone’s RAW converter yields different results. We will start seeing profiles being sold around the net for “Joe Blow’s Look”. This is both a blessing and a curse.
