Squid Boy
This marks the end of the Munich exhibition…I kind of ran that vein dry. There may be a few more dribbling out here and there, but I felt it was time to move on. I’ve got a few from a weekend camping trip to share. It was great fun.
As a side note, I noticed via TOP the link to the Southworth & Hawes daguerotypes on Flickr. These are well worth a look. Most dating from the mid 1800′s, they contain excellent tonalities and are an interesting study in the fashions of the era. Witness: the women’s hairstyles–must have been a fashion trend–there is no other explanation.
